Salted Rosemary Chickpea Crackers
Chickpea flour is such a handy ingredient to have in the kitchen cupboard. This really versatile flour can be used in an array of recipes. From falafels, to crepes, to pancakes, to crackers. It’s flavor is evident, yet not dominant and really pairs well with a bunch of other ingredients. These Salted Rosemary Chickpea Crackers are proof of just how delicious this little ground dried legume can be.

Caramel Hazelnut Balls – Only 4 Ingredients
It’s my mission to share how delicious and easy healthy food can be. This Caramel Hazelnut Bliss Ball recipe is the perfect way to show how incredibly tasty healthy treats can be. Using only 4 ingredients (yes you read correct, only 4 ingredients!), these balls are fudgy and have the most perfect texture, and the lightly roasted hazelnut flavor adds such a delicious dimension to this simple healthy recipe.

Red Velvet Beetroot Brownies with a Fluffy Aquafaba Vanilla Cashew Cream Frosting
I’ve been wanting to make a Red Velvet Beetroot recipe on the blog for ages. Being not too sure if I wanted to experiment with either cupcakes or brownies, I settled on the latter. Brownies are a good size for a treat, and a little can go a long way. And so, these Red Velvet Beetroot Brownies were created. Crumbly yet gooey at the same time – what perfect balance. The intoxicating red hue from the crimson beetroot is captivating to say the least. It beckons an elegance that I was eager to experiment with and share.

Pumpkin Millet Kale Salad with Balsamic Reduction
I love seasonal eating. I love the abundance of locally grown food that is at it’s peak supply. Happy farmers, happy consumers and happy wallets. While it’s saddening that avocado’s are nearly triple their usual price, bright and beautiful pumpkin is bountiful. Vibrantly golden, this wholesome and nutritionally dense vegetable is just what I feel my body needs in these cooler winter months.

Warming Beetroot Carrot and Ginger Juice
It’s getting really chilly here down in the depths of the Southern Hemisphere, so this week on the blog I’ve decided to share a fresh vegetable juice recipe. This warming carrot, ginger and beetroot juice is just what you need to stay on-top of your health and to limit any nasty colds and flu’s. As the colder months approach, I tend to crave more warming, dense, comfort foods. Through winter, a great way to remain healthy (as well as staying balanced and happy) is to load up on freshly juiced vegetables and fruits.

Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Chia Pudding
I am so excited to share this recipe with you guys, and I had such fun creating it. I find it so amazing how you can create something so decadent, beautiful and delicious with only a handful of ingredients. This recipe is perfect for breakfast and easily prepared the night before or spruce it up for a jaw dropping dessert. The most exciting part of this recipe was the discovery of the Chocolate Raspberry Mousse. When the ‘coconut milk soaked’ chia seeds are blended with raw cacao, frozen raspberries and a sweetener of your choice, the most decadent perfect textured mousse is created. Stop it! I know! Ah-maizing right??

You know that feeling when you make a dish that just is so perfect on all levels? That’s what happened with this dish – let me explain. I was browsing and searching for something creative to make for dinner. Something that I could make for Nick and I, and something that was easy and at the same time, delicious! I stumbled across this Rainbow Thai Noodle Salad with Peanut Lime Dressing recipe from the Little Spice Jar blog. I was looking on here to find a recipe that Nick would enjoy, that I could either substitute the meat/ make it vegan friendly. This recipe caught my eye and I’m SO GLAD…

My Favorite Wellness with Taryn Recipes
This week on the blog I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite recipes so far. Sifting through archives and reminiscing on past dishes has been quite wonderful, therapeutic in a way. A stroll down memory lane is always good. These recipes range from sweet to savory and are in no particular order. One thing that gathering all these recipes has made me realize is how much time, effort and hard work I’ve poured into this blog. Not that it feels like work at all!
