Teeccino Herbal Coffee Review
I stumbled across this box of ‘yummyness’ while browsing our local Green Grocer. I have tried the peppermint flavor before, so I decided to give this hazelnut option a try. Goodness me is it delicious! Lately I have been super conscious of what I’m putting in my body, and especially of what I’m consuming and it’s effects on my liver. Now I absolutely love coffee! Don’t get me wrong! Every now and then I do have a cup of the real deal, and yes, I feel the amazing effects of it. After not having coffee for a while, you can really feel the ‘drug-like’ effects that caffeine has on your…

Pukka Cleanse Herbal Tea Review
This is such a stunning product, I had to do a review on it! From the packaging, to the smell when you open a tea sachet, to the first sip, it is just simply wonderful! I like to start each day withΒ a soothing cup of tea. A warm cup of herbal tea tends to hit the spot!Β Whether it be green tea, licorice tea, or any herbal blend tea, I find that the soothing flavors of the tea gently nudge my organs into action. As the ingredients are generally super detoxifying, I know my liver is grateful.

Roasted Turmeric Cauliflower and Kale Salad
Cruciferous vegetablesΒ play an important role in aΒ plant based diet. They are packed full of nutrients that nourish your body. They are super high in phytochemicals,Β vitamin A, carotenoids, vitamin C, folic acid, and fiber.Β Their unusually high content of vitamin C and manganese explainΒ their growing reputation as an antioxidant vegetable group. This salad is a perfect way to combine two powerhouse cruciferous vegetables – kale and cauliflower. With a slight heat from the cauliflower to compliment the zestyness of the massaged kale, this salad is definitely a winner! It’s a perfect detox option as it’s quite light, yet super fulling.Β

Homemade Muesli
I have such fond memories of my mom’s homemade muesli when I was growing up. I remember how she used to make a huge batch and store it in this massive square white Tupperware. I remember how she used to, ever so slightly, toast the batch, not to burn it but to give that delicious crunch. Such fond memories! This inspired me to try re-create her recipe, with a healthy twist. This recipe is particularly great for Diabetics as it is refined sugar free.

Peanut Butter Oat Cookies
I’ve been dying to sit down with a warm cuppa chai tea and a tasty, healthy, sugar-free cookie to dunk! So I decided to make a batch, and they turned out amazing! These cookies are yummyΒ as a mid-morning or afternoon pick me up. They really keep you going, and deliver effective sustained energy. They’re great for all ages, making them a perfect healthy option for the whole family. TheirΒ crisp outside, and slightly chewy inside is just too delicious! I really enjoyed making them, decorating them, and of course, eating them! They’re animal product free (vegan), refined sugar free, dairy free and guilt free!

Egg Box Raw Chocolate
Valentines Day! A day to indulge in this delicious and guilt free Raw Chocolate. With this recipe I wanted to do something different. Something fun, and something that wouldn’t break the bank. So I scraped around, and came up with this fab idea. Egg Box Molded Raw Chocolates! And it worked out brilliantly! This is such a fun recipe as it involves playing around a bit. It’s a great recipe to share with little ones too, who love to help out in the kitchen. With only a few ingredients, it is a quick, relatively affordable and fun alternative to mainstream sugar laden chocolate.
