Chocolate Protein Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Almond Meal - Organic if possible
  • 4 TBS Coconut Sugar - Organic if possible
  • 4 TBS Raw Cacao Powder - Organic if possible
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt - type of your choice
  • 2 TBS Butter/Ghee/Vegan Butter - melted
  • 2 Egg Whites - sourced locally and ethically

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 150C (fan forced)

  2. Add the egg whites into a large mixing bowl and whisk lightly.

  3. Add the remaming ingredients.

  4. Stir until all combined.

  5. Evenly space about a large tablespoon of mixture onto a lined baking tray.

  6. Place into the oven at 150C (fan forced) and bake for 10 mins.

  7. Remove from oven at the 10 minute mark and squash each cookie down with a fork. This will help them to bake evenly and create a delicious crunch!.

  8. Continue to bake for a further 10 mins. Total bake time is 20mins.

  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool fully before enjoying.
