    Quinoa has to be one of my favorite grains! (that technically is not a grain but in fact a seed!) It’s versatility alone makes it extremely favorable and it’s almost nutty flavor adds is so delicious. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner this Aztec ‘superfood’ can be paired with a variety of foods. I decided to create an updated Quinoa Porridge recipe and share how I’ve been loving this grain in the mornings. I’ve found it gives me so much more energy than say regular oats, and I think gluten may be one of the reasons. I tend to tolerate oats, but have noticed quite a difference in my overall energy…

    Although we’re enveloped in this gorgeous sunny weather, it still can get a bit chilly in the early hours of the morning. There’s nothing better than a warm bowl of nourishing porridge to start the day with, warming the tum and giving you the sustained energy you need to do all the things you need to do before midday. This Apple Cinnamon Quinoa porridge will do just that! Fill you up and keep you going until your mid-morning snack, or even lunch! It consists of a handful of ingredients, and only takes a couple of minutes to make, which is a perfect combination for me!

    Oooohhhh this one’s a goodie! This Hazelnut and Pistachio Crispy Quinoa Clusters recipe is so tasty, and really hard to stop at one. Let’s admit it, we’re all fans of tasty treats! Whether it be sweet or savory. The hard part is to know when to stop, and that includes the healthy treats you’ll find here.  I recently came across two ingredients, that I knew would create something spectacular. Crispy quinoa puffs and a jar of (freaking delicious) hazelnut butter! Hazelnut butter and me have a special connection, we understand each other, really really well πŸ™‚

    Who doesn’t love tucking into a huge, delicious and satisfying burger? Well these patties are vegan & vegetarian friendly, are super healthy and so so tasty! With only a few ingredients, these patties are great for a tight budget. Surprisingly the ingredients bind really really well (even with no egg or egg substitute), so there’s no fuss of patties falling apart, which, let’s be honest, can sometimes be so annoying!

    This recipe is a Moroccan twist on a Quinoa salad. It is super easy, really quick, and perfect for lunch the next day!Β I often make a big batch of dinner, and have it for lunch the next day. It saves time in the morning, plus most meals taste amazing the next day. I love quinoa, and adore how versatile it is.Β You can literally toss a couple of your favorite ingredients into a quinoa salad and I’m 99% certain each time it’ll turn out great! It definitely is a staple in my pantry, and forever on my shopping list.
